A Year of Sundays--Zebras and Elephant Seals in Cambria

This weekend I headed down the California Coast to Cambria. This small town is right between the SF Bay Area and Los Angeles, so it makes for a nice meeting place, plus it has Hearst Castle, Nitt Witt Ridge, elephant seals and zebras! For today's Sunday photo, I was lucky enough to see the zebras roaming in the fields along Hwy 1. These are some of the few animals left from the Hearst Private Zoo. For some additional photos from the weekend, here's another post

And, I couldn't leave out these cute elephant seals resting and playing on the beach and in the ocean. There are several pups hanging out, eating, growing and playing while getting ready to head out to sea.

This image is from a dance recital I attended recently while visiting friends whose three daughters all performed in many magical ways. This sweet moment was captured during the finale when all the dancers return back on stage to be honored for their hard work throughout the year. You can see how much the littles love the older dancers and how much they
